The book started out great, then one to two pages threw me off a little. I got passed that curve ball and it turned out to be a phenomenal story. This story was about forgiveness, secrets, life lessons, happiness, disappointments, deception, etc. It was a page turner and I managed to read it in one day. You will not be disappointed. The second part will be out next Summer, wish it was soon.

I started this book and couldn't put it down until I finished. Wow talking about a good read. I can see this being a movie one day.
Talk about a page turner!! This author doesn't leave any room for a pause. She takes you on a rollercoaster ride while continuously asking yourself, "what would I do in this situation?" Can't wait for the sequel!!
This book made me take a good look at myself and inspires me to live more Christ-like. To actually forgive and let go. Renee and Layout definitely got it right and I applauded them for stressing His teachings to Gen and helping her to live according to God's Word. Excellent, thoughtful and inspiring book.
Her Right To Flight by Mikela D. Harris is a Christian Fiction book that tells the story of Genevieve a teen mother from the hood who many would have seen her turn into another statistic. It was truly a breath of fresh air when she meets the man of her dreams, Jayson someone who she would never believe would be interested in her but love never fails.

Her Right To Flight is a story about how secrets can wreck havoc when parties are not being completely honest. I found this novel to be emotionally accurate in some cases and interesting to see how the story would unfold, what I particularly enjoyed was that there wasn't a preachy read, meaning that religion was not force fed down your throat. I give this work of fiction 4 stars and kudos to the author.

Amazing story!! I was so taken with Gen's story and how it would play out. Honey, the revelations and redemption was spellbounding. I can't wait for Book #2. Officially a fan.
I was not disappointed reading this story. It was so engaging that I read it in one day. Had to see how it ended. The characters were well developed and the plot kept me reading until the end would definitely recommend and look forward to other books by this author.
This book was thought provoking and fast paced. Gen has a low self esteem. She never thinks she is good enough and takes out her anger on everybody. She's a selfish hero who you can't help liking anyway.
Her nemesis is her mother in law. They play off each other in a comical way. I laughed and cried. I felt sorry for them both.
I liked that it was not a squeaky clean Christian book. It is like real life. Even Christians don't always act right all the time. Its definitely for adults but not dirty.
I did not like that the Black man was portrayed as a stereotypical dog. I also don't like the break up of a Christian family. I wish they would have got back together but maybe they will in the sequel. Can't wait to read that.
